ELAC
English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
A school-level committee comprised of parents, staff, and community members designated to advise school officials on English learner programs and services.
- Each school with 21 or more students of Limited English Proficiency (LEP) must form a functioning ELAC.
- The ELAC advises the principal and School Site Council on programs and services for English learners.
